Essential oils are incorporated into all our range.  These oils have a therapeutic and beneficial effect both psychologically and physiologically, they are wonderfully
luxurious and produce wonderful skin care products.

Our skin care range is produced using
traditional, often ancient, recipes and
methods.    All of our range is made in small hand made batches and hand cut.  We use only the highest quality of ingredients and never
compromise the integrity of our products.

Soap is made by a process of combining animal fats or vegetable oils which are acidic, when mixed together at the correct temperature they neutralise to form a new compound.  This is reaction is  known as saponification.   

Our soap does not use any animal fat, the soap-making method used is called
"cold-process".  This process involves stirring together the vegetable fats, sodium hydroxide, water, essential oils and any additional
ingredients required for the soap.  There is no additional heat required and all the glycerine is retained in the soap (unlike commercial brands).  This means that our soap retains all the glycerine which ensure a gentle soap, kind to sensitive skin.
